UNICRI’s Headquarters in Turin, Italy, will set the stage at 5 p.m. CET on Friday 9 July to honor the Class 2021 of the Master of Laws (LL.M) in Transnational Crime and Justice.
Two capacity-building events are taking place from 28 September to 2 October 2020 within the framework of the UNICRI's Programme on the nexus between organized crime and terrorism.
On 26 June UNICRI held a virtual course on organized crime infiltration into the legal economy. from a global perspective. The lecturers of the training were Mr. Francesco Marelli, Mrs. Mariana Diaz Garcia and Mr. Marco Musumeci.

This report assesses the impact of the conflict in Ukraine and its implications for organized crime and security-related issues for neighbouring countries, with a focus on Moldova.
On the 1st February 2021, Professor Juan Carlos Sainz-Borgo, Dean of the University for Peace (UPEACE); Professor Mihir Kanade, Director of the Human Rights Centre at UPEACE; Ms. Antonia Marie De Meo, Director of UNICRI; and Mr. Leif Villadsen, Deputy Director of UNICRI, officially opened the fourteenth edition of the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Transnational Crime and Justice. The opening ceremony, which was held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions, was a chance to welcome the 43 students from 22 countries who will be studying for the LL.M. this year.
The protection of cultural heritage is a critical component within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda, as reported under Goal 11 through which countries have pledged to “make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.” In particular, Target 11.4 of Goal 11 aims to “strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world’s cultural and natural heritage.”

An informal technical meeting on the use of nuclear science to combat illicit trafficking in cultural goods will be held at the Vienna International Centre (Vienna, Austria) on 4 May 2023.
